Copper Moon Artist Kristine Allphin has been selected for inclusion in the Vision 20\/20: Nebraska’s Top 20 Exhibition opening August 1, 2020.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Kristine created a major new batik on paper for the exhibition measuring 44in x 60in titled And It Was Good. The piece is a marvelous representation of Allphin’s immediately recognizable work. The piece features the immense Nebraska sky, rolling clouds, linear perspectives and grasses. Allphin’s work is well known for instilling the feeling of being part of the landscape: hearing the wind and smelling the richness of the environment.<\/p>\n

As an art museum dedicated to the land, we have sought to compile an exhibition of the best of the best Agrarian Artists currently living and working in Nebraska. This is not to ignore the exceptional artists who have gone before, but to examine a glimpse of the current pulse of contemporary Agrarian Art.<\/p>\n
